Warren Woods

Park construction at Warren Parks East and Warren Woods Park West have been delayed mostly due to COVID related issues. We anticipate that you will see lots more progress in the coming weeks with completion expected later this fall.

Let's all stay safe by staying away from the playgrounds and courts in both parks until construction has been completed and the fencing has been removed.

The time has finally come! Construction will be starting! The contractor will be starting soon at the new park on Hackberry Trail. Work will then start shortly after at the new park on Warren Wood Boulevard. Construction fencing will be installed for public safety. We want everyone to stay safe so please stay out of the fenced areas during construction.

Construction on 2 new neighbourhood parks in the Warren Woods Subdivision will commence Spring 2021. More updates to follow.

The City of Niagara Falls has awarded the contract to construct 2 new neighbourhood parks in the Warren Woods Subdivision to Peters Contracting. Construction will be starting in September with completion anticipated prior to the end of the year 2020. The work completion is subject to weather conditions.

New playground equipment has been selected for Warren Woods Park East and Warren Woods Park West. Check out the pictures section on right side of the page for higher resolution renderings of the playground equipment. Construction of the playgrounds and other park improvements are anticipated to start this summer with completion Fall 2020.

Niagara Falls City Council funded the development of 2 new neighbourhood parks in the Warren Woods Subdivision. They will be located at; 7865 Hackberry Trail and 8707 Warren Woods Avenue. More information to come!

On February 27, 2019 the City of Niagara Falls consulted residents of the Warren Woods neighbourhoods about the future of parks and trails in the subdivision. A lot of great feed-back was received about the recreational needs of residents.

We took these comments and used them to help guide our conceptual plans for the parks and trails. We want to share these plans with you. We would like to get your further feed-back to make sure these plans meet your needs.
