The Silvertown Neighbourhood is located northwest of downtown City of Niagara Falls (City) and is bordered by Victoria Avenue, Leader Lane, the Niagara Parkway/River Road, and Buttrey Street. A large portion of the infrastructure within the Silvertown is approaching the end of its expected lifespan and is in need of renewal, The City has been tracking infrastructure condition and performance issues in the area.

Objective

The aim of the Functional Servicing Assessment Study is to review the condition and operation of the existing roads, sidewalks, streetlights, watermain and sewers and develop a plan for replacement and upgrade of infrastructure to better service existing and future residents and businesses.

The Study

The findings of this Study will be used to recommend a multi-year capital improvement plan to optimize existing infrastructure and address servicing concerns for existing residents and businesses and future growth in the area.
