Royal Manor Park Play Structure Opening

The City of Niagara Falls held the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Royal Manor Park Playground on Sunday, November 26, 2017.

The new playground includes accessible play structures with artificial turf safety surface, new swings, seating and paved walkways. The playground has been themed for Canada 150 celebrations.

This playground opening is part of “Operation Awesome Playgrounds”, an initiative Mayor Jim Diodati announced at his State of the City Address in March. As part of this initiative, the City’s program to refresh play structures is being accelerated, with 10 parks being replaced in 2017. Royal Manor Park Playground is the fifth playground to be opened under this exciting initiative!
