Niagara Adapts Climate Change Online Survey

The City of Niagara Falls and Brock University are inviting Niagara Falls residents to take part in a Niagara Adapts research survey on how climate change has affected their lives, both on a household and municipal level. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes and upon completion, you will be entered into a draw for a $300 Visa gift card. The survey will be active until December.

What is Niagara Adapts?

Niagara Adapts is a partnership that brings together seven Niagara municipalities – Grimsby, Lincoln, Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Pelham, St. Catharines and Welland – with Brock’s Environmental Sustainability Research Centre (ESRC) to address climate change.

We are conducting research on climate change and the impacts on our community. Your input is essential in developing our climate change adaptation plan for the City of Niagara Falls.

  • Official Launch of Niagara Adapts - Tickets Now Available!

    The official launch of Niagara Adapts will take place on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Performing Arts Centre (PAC) in downtown St. Catharines. Everyone is welcome to attend and join the FREE screening of the documentary, Resilence.

    The documentary will be followed by a post-screening discussion with Dr. Jessica Blythe and representatives from the Niagara Adapts partnership. Community reception with the filmmaker to follow.

    The film shares local stories highlighting a more resilient way of living, featuring people’s efforts in the Owen Sound area, like Neighbourwoods North. Marine Scientist Dr. John Anderson explains how climate change will affect us and what we can do about it.
