A new City website to better serve our community

We are excited to announce a comprehensive redesign of our municipal website aimed at better serving our community.

This project is driven by our commitment to enhancing the online experience, making it more accessible, responsive, and user-friendly for all residents. Our goal is to create a digital platform that reflects your needs, providing quick access to vital services, information, and customer service.

We invite you to contribute your ideas and feedback to help shape a website that truly meets the diverse needs of our community. Together, we can build a platform that connects, informs, and empowers every resident.

Ways to participate

Join our focus group on Thursday, September 26, to share your suggestions and help shape the new City of Niagara Falls website

Do you use the city website to find events, learn about services, or pay bills? If so, we want to hear from you! We value your input and hope to see you at our upcoming sitemap focus group, which will help shape the new City of Niagara Falls website to serve the needs of our community, from residents and visitors to business owners, staff, and elected officials.

What is a sitemap?

It’s a blueprint for how our website will be structured. It ensures the homepage is easy to use and has an intuitive design.

What is involved?

Our consultant (GHD) will give an introductory presentation with instructions and explain what makes a good sitemap. The draft sitemap is spread out on the wall. You will be armed with markers, sticky notes, and your ideas! We will work in small groups to navigate the sitemap and make suggestions. Then GHD will walk us through the recommended changes to ensure a strong understanding of the different perspectives and feedback.

  • Date: Thursday, September 26
  • Time: 6 pm to 8 pm
  • Where: The Exchange, in the Market Hall, 5943 Sylvia Place
  • Hosted by: City of Niagara Falls and GHD
  • Refreshments and snacks will be provided!

Volunteer hours will be given to participating students!
