The City of Niagara Falls is excited to announce the first phase of the MacBain Skateboard Park Improvements!
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide the highest level of service for our user groups, this project will include many exciting new features for participants and spectators of the MacBain Community Centre Skateboard Park at 7150 Montrose Road.
These improvements will expand the usable space for different user groups. This includes a proposed shade structure for users and observers to sit in and watch the action, a re-vamp of the existing concrete art feature sign, and new decorative additions within the skate area.
Update
We are pleased to announce that the Phase One Improvements project is now complete, and the MacBain Skateboard Park is officially open to the public!
Come check out the new amenities, which include:
- A covered shade structure
- New concrete benches
- An expanded concrete plaza surface to enhance user experience and improve the functionality of existing features and grind rails
