Over the next two weeks you will see the hoarding going up around the property. This will seal off the property and work will commence shortly after this. There has been a demolition permit issued and the market building will come down shortly - probably within 3 weeks or so. The Museum team is making sure we document the building and have materials saved to remember this site. We are also working with the Library to have old photos of the market building and the market itself added to their online resource.
