Public Open House

You are invited to attend a drop-in Open House where you can learn about and provide ideas for developing a new Community Improvement Plan.

The City of Niagara Falls is developing a new comprehensive Community Improvement Plan (CIP) to address evolving community needs and Council’s strategic priorities. A CIP is a policy and financial tool enabled under Section 28 of the Planning Act that allows municipalities to offer financial incentives and other support to help advance community revitalization and development goals.

Join the conversation, help identify priorities, and provide feedback on tools and incentives for advancing the City’s efforts. We would like to hear about what ideas and tools would help:

  • Empty or underutilized properties to be developed into places where people can live, shop and walk safely.
  • Protect the environment, add more green spaces and build energy-saving buildings.
  • Encourage new businesses to come to Niagara Falls and existing businesses to grow, to create more jobs for people in our community.
  • Create and support Niagara Falls tourism businesses that create year-round tourism options
