Chippawa Boat Ramp Park - Operational and Parking Review

Welcome to the project page for the Chippawa Boat Ramp Park - Operational and Parking Review!

The Chippawa Boat Ramp Park is a City facility located adjacent to the Welland River, and can be accessed via Lyons Creek Road. The amenities at this facility include:

  • Public docks on the waterfront providing for two boat launches
  • Children’s play structure & parkette
  • Rest areas
  • Public parking area, including 34 vehicle with trailer spaces, and 25 passenger vehicle spaces.

In response to increased popularity and demands on this facility during the summer months, combined with parking and safety concerns received, the City of Niagara Falls has initiated an Operational and Parking Review.

Implementation is expected to commence late-Spring, subject to Council approval.

An integral part of the Chippawa Boat Ramp Park Operational and Parking Review includes public consultation. Feedback and input received from the community and facility users will help formulate operational improvements and recommendations for City Council’s consideration.
